Kefir

We have been making our own kefir fermented milk since the late seventies. It has fallen nicely into our routine: David, my husband, makes the kefir while doing the washing up and then it comes to the table either as a topping for soft fruit, a drink, or disguised in all sorts of dishes, even bread or fizzy drinks, prepared by me. We simply couldn't do without it.
