Volunteer work experience:

• 1991- 2015 Committee member of the Colchester & District Branch of the Muscular Dystrophy UK. Treasurer 1992-1996. Acting secretary 1998-1999. Vice-chairman and Welfare Officer 1999-2001.
• 1998 - 1999 Working with the Countryside Services, Colchester: field work, Pond Survey and the stag beetles' life-cycle.
• 2010- 2013 Committee member of the Colchester Natural History Society.
